PCC Rock Creek to Reopen Tuesday After Bomb Scare
The school was evacuated after a phone call to 911 warned bombs would go off.

The Rock Creek Campus of Portland Community College will reopen on Tuesday after a bomb scare forced the evacuation of the school cancelation of classes on Monday. No devices were ever found.
The Washington County Sheriff's Office and the school decided to evacuate after a call was made to 911 around 8:00 Monday morning warning that several devices would explode within one half hour.
The sheriff's office - working with other law enforcement agencies including the Beaverton Police Department - evacuated thousands of students and staff.

The bomb squad dogs from the Portland Police Bureau will then check the campus for devices.
Students have posted pictures on social media of the traffic backup caused by the campus's limited ways in and out.

People were to avoid the area around the campus while the investigation was underway. There were delays around 185th Avenue and Springville Road for several hours.
