PDX Traffic Alert - SW 10th Lane Closures for the Next Week

If you were on Southwest 10th Avenue on Thursday and noticed traffic was moving a little slowly, don't worry... it was.

For the next week, crews from the Portland Bureau of Transportation are working on street improvements that will require some lane closures.

The work is taking place on Southwest 10th Avenue from Main Street to Burnside.

The crews are working to grind and pave some 1.35 miles of pavement.

While the work will be going on from Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. through 4:00 p.m., crews will be working to make sure that businesses and residents have the access they need.

PBOT says that people should expect delays while the project is underway. The work is weather dependent and the schedule may change.
