Pedestrian Injured in Crash

Portland Police say that a pedestrian struck by a car Monday morning will likely survive his injuries.

It happened on Sandy Boulevard by Prescott Street around 5:40 Monday morning.

The driver, an adult woman, was driving westbound when the man stepped off the curb without warning.

She stayed on scene and cooperated with police.

Sandy, from Prescott to 87th, was closed for a few hours while the investigation was ongoing.
