A man who led officers on a chase and nearly hit an officer is under arrest.Portland Police say the incident happened just before 2:00 Wednesday afternoon.An officer was in his car on Powell Boulevard near SE 122nd Avenue when his automatic license plate leader indicated he had just passed a stolen car.The officer did a u-turrn. The suspect pulled into an apartment complex and ran, ignoring orders to stop.The suspect eventually ran back to the stolen car and sped away, nearly hitting the officer .Other officers got involved. The stolen car - an Audi A6 - was located behind a vacant house on the 3100 block of Southeast 145th Avenue.The suspect was located about a block away and taken into custody.
