Police Ask That You Keep an Eye Out for a Stolen Camper
Family visiting from California would like their camper back.

Portland Police are asking that you keep an eye out for the camper in the picture.
It belongs to a family from Ventura, California.
They are in Portland on vacation and had been parked in the Washington Park lot at Southwest Sherwood Boulevard and Carter Avenue.

"We've been driving up the coast from California, camping and visiting friends," Matthew Craig told Patch as he drove back from renting a car and buying new car seats.
He is traveling with his wife and their two daughters - one 3 1/2-years-old and one 5 1/2-years-old.

"All of our camping equipment, our clothes, the kids's toys were in the van," he told Patch..
It was stolen sometime late Tuesday morning.

"We were having a great time," Craig said. "This was an unpleasant twist."
Craig said they have not yet figured out what they will do next.
The van is a white 2009 Ford with a camper top.
It has a California license plate - 6GHV448.
Anyone seeing the van should call the Police Non-Emergency Line at 503-823-3333. If someone is behind the wheel and/or is driving the van, witnesses should call 9-1-1.
