Police Investigate Shooting at Waterfront Park
One injured person was found though not clear if the person had been shot.

Portland Police are investigation a shooting Friday night at Waterfront Park.
It happened about 10:45.
Officers heard gunshots and people called 9-1-1, saying there was a disturbance and people were firing guns.

Officers arrived and found someone who had been injured but it wasn't clear if the person had been shot.

The person is expected to be okay.
They found evidence of gunfire on the promenade, north of the Morrison Bridge.
Police says that the suspect is a black male in his 20s, 5'9" to 6'00" tall, wearing a white t-shirt, blue jeans, and carrying a black backpack. Witnesses told police that the suspect was last seen running in the area of Southwest 2nd Avenue and Washington Street.
