Portland 5 Things To Do In and Around the City This Weekend
Eek Week at the Portland Children's Museum
1. Halloween's not until Monday but why wait? It's Eek Week at the Portland Children's Museum and that means spooky story times, trick or treat bag decorating, a costume dance party, and more. There are events on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. Head right here for more information.
2. Sunday is free admission day at the Portland Art Museum. And to mark the occasion, the museum is hosting a series of family-friendly activities related to printmaking including contributing to a publication being made for incoming mayor Ted Wheeler. The inspiration for the day is the exhibit of Andy Warhol prints at the museum and in his honor, they promise to create "a factory of Portland printmakers" creating a fun-filled day of art-making and kid-friendly experiences. You can find the schedule of events right here.
3. Looking to scare up a good time (sorry)? Head on out to West Linn on Friday or Saturday evening. The city promises that "there's a new fear in the forest." It's a haunted trail through Mary S. Young Park. For more information, click right here.

4. Kumori is the Japanese word for cloudy. Kumoricon, underway for the 14th year at the Oregon Convention Center promises to combine the best part of fandom with what it's like to live in the Pacific Northwest. It is a convention celebrating anime and Japanese culture. You can find a complete schedule right here.
5. The holidays are coming up and you're looking for that slightly out of left field gift for the hard to shop for second cousin? Or maybe you're just looking to add to that collection that your wife wishes you had never started? Either way, America's Largest Antique & Collectible Show is coming to town this weekend. They'll be at the Portland Expo Center both Saturday and Sunday. Head here for more information.
