Portland 5 Things to Do This Weekend
The Air Show! Pickathon! Hot Sauces Expo! Does it get any better than this? Hard to imagine.

1. From Frontier Friday Night with fireworks to the KidsZone Play Area to the Heroes of the Pacific honoring those who died 75 years ago at Pearl Harbor to the U.S. Special Operations Command Parachute Team "The Para-Commandos" there is no shortage of things to see at the Oregon International Air Show this weekend at the Hillsboro Airport.
2. Looking to add a little spice to your weekend? Head to the Bridge Lot at OMSI for the 2016 PDX Hot Sauce Expo. And don't think it's just hot sauce competitions. There is a chihuahua beauty pageant. There is a spicy donut competition sponsored by Voodoo. Got questions? Your answers are likely here.
3. If you want to get in touch with your family history, head to the Oregon Buddhist Temple on Saturday for Obonfest, the annual Japanese Festival commemorating one's ancestors. Lanterns are hung, food is offered, there is a dance. Go here to get more information.

5. Hard to believe but Portland has such a strong improvisational comedy scene that this weekend's Stumptown Improv has more than a dozen different groups performing. Check out the schedule and lineup here.
