A man who has been a leader of Portland's Resistance, the activist movement responsible for organizing several recent protests, is charged with sex abuse.The charges against 23-year-old Micah Rhodes date to 2015 and involve him having sex with a 17-year-old male in Gresham and Troutdale.The charges were first reported by KOIN News.Rhodes was on parole for sex abuse and sodomy at the time of the incidents.Court documents indicate that when Rhodes was interviewed by police last week, he admitted to having met the teen on the Grindr app and that the teen has told him he was 17-years-old.Rhodes admitted to police that they had sex in Troutdale.He has been in jail since January 25 when he was arrested during protests in downtown Portland.Photo Multnomah County Sheriff's Office

The charges against 23-year-old Micah Rhodes date to 2015 and involve him having sex with a 17-year-old male in Gresham and Troutdale.The charges were first reported by KOIN News.

Concert organist Dr. Nathaniel Gumbs, director of music at New York’s storied Riverside Church, presents a thrilling organ recital for Trinity Cathedral’s Catherine Crozier Memorial Organ Recital on Friday, April 24 at 7:00pm. Dr. Gumbs’ program features several beloved treasures of the organ repertoire by Charles-Marie Widor, Sigfried Karg-Elert, Felix Mendelssohn, and César Franck, plus American composer Florence Price’s monumental First Sonata for Organ.
Dr. Gumbs has served in multiple large parishes and churches and, until his recent move to New York City, served as Director of Chapel Music at Yale University. He maintains an active career as a concert organist with engagements across the country; The New York Times praised his playing as “mature, lyrical, accurate, and energetic,” noting that his performance was delivered “deftly and with feeling.” Recently, he released his first organ solo project entitled King of Kings: Organ Music of Black Composers, Past and Present.
Dr. Gumbs' program is one of true excitement and versatility that will allow both his innate energy and prodigious technique to shine, and Trinity’s landmark <a href="https://www.trinity-episcopal.org/rosales-organ" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">Rosales pipe organ</a> could not be better suited for such a beautiful program. 
Dr. Catharine Crozier
(1914-2003), was Artist-in-Residence at <a href="https://www.trinity-episcopal.org/" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">Trinity Episcopal Cathedral</a> for much of the last decade of her life, and was one of the most admired and sought-after American concert organists of the 20th century. Dr. Crozier was a pioneer among women in a field once heavily dominated by male performers. Her legacy supports our annual Catharine Crozier Memorial Organ Recital, which brings brilliant concert organists from across the globe to Trinity.
Trinity's pipe organ, built by Manuel Rosales and installed in 1986, is one of the finest pipe organs in North America. We celebrate its 40th anniversary this year with a series of concerts and events - stay tuned for more information!
