Portland Police arrived at Mt. Scott Pub and found several men holding down 25-year-old Deshantin Najee Motley.The officers were told that Motley had walked into in, went behind the bar, pointed a gun at the bartender, and demanded money.The bartender complied.As Motley tried to leave, several men tackled him. During the struggle, Motley fired a shot but did not strike anyone.He is being held on attempted murder robbery, robbery, and weapons charges.Motley is also charged with failure to register as a sex offender and a parole violation.
