Portland Crime: Police Report Weekend of Weapons-Related Arrests and Incidents

Portland Police had a busy weekend, taking several people into custody on weapons-related charges.

It was a very busy weekend for Portland Police as they took several people into custody and investigated other reports of shots being fired.

On Sunday afternoon around 3:30, officers from the North precinct responded to Northeast Holladay Street and Grand Avenue after getting reports that shots had been fired.

They found a car damaged by gunfire ar Northeast 2nd Avenue and Holladay Street.

There were no reports of victims.

Early Sunday morning, a traffic officer saw a car going 82MPH in a 50 MPH zone on I5.

The driver, 23-year-old Alone Deshavion Richey, was stopped, determined to be driving under the influence and arrested, charged with DUI.

Officers also found he had a loaded gun so he was also hit with weapons charges.

On Saturday night, around 10:20, officers responded o=to Southwest 13th Avenue and Burnside Street to a report of a woman in the sidewalk with a handgun.

They found 27-year-old Juliette Muise who, after refusing to obey officer's commands, was Tasered. They found she had been walking with what what turned out to be a replica handgun.

She was charged with interfering with a police officer and disorderly conduct. It turned out she had an outstanding warrant for assault a public safety officer.

About one hour before, officers from the gang enforcement team stopped a car at Southeast 122nd Avenue and Morrison Street for traffic violations.

During the search, they found a loaded gun in the glove compartment and arrested 28-year-old Marshawn Seamster.
