It was one year ago, just after midnight, April 14, 2014, when Portland Police responded to a call of shots fired by Northeast Degum Street and Claremont Avenue.

In a parking lot, officers found 24-year-old D'Andre Dickerson. He was dead, having been shot by someone.

Detectives have been able to determine that Dickerson lived in Seattle. It's not known why he was in Portland or where he was staying.
