Portland Fire Says Grass Fire Was Arson

Fire took 40 minutes to bring under control.

A grass fire by Marine Drive and Northeast 138th Avenue was arson, Portland Fire and Rescue said Monday.

They had responded in the early afternoon and immediately noticed there were several other fires in the area.

Firefighters were forced to call for backup.

It took about 40 minutes to extinguish the fires.

No one was injured..
