Portland Food Cart Burglaries: Six Pods Have Now Been Struck
Two more pods have been hit in the past two days.

Two more of Portland's food cart pods have been burglarized in the past two days, bringing to six the total targeted in just over one week. The fifth one was on Thursday. The sixth one overnight Thursday into Friday.
Portland Police say that the Piedmont Station Food Carts at Northeast Sixth and Killingsworth was burglarized sometime Thursday night or early Friday. In addition some of the carts, an ATM at the location was also struck.
On Thursday, the Tidbit Food Farm at Southeast 28th and Division was also struck.

On Monday night the NE 42nd Avenue Food Carts was hit. Three of the four carts there were burglarized.
"Hey PORTLAND we are closed today for unseen unfortunate robbery," the operators of Pastrami Zombie posted on Facebook. "Sorry for any inconvenience. We ❤️ you all."

Portland Zombie had just been selected the best food cart in the city by Portland Monthly.
Portland Mercado had eight of its ten carts broken into. Two days later 11 carts at Carts on Foster were robbed. That was followed by Cartlandia where seven carts were burglarized.
The burglary at NE 42nd was the first not in the Southeast part of the city.
