An avian visit during his rally shows that Portland will put a bird on pretty much anything - even a political rally.

Bernie Sanders came to Portland and the city responded by literally putting a bird on the rally.

He was speaking and a bird just paid his podium a visit.

As someone who caught the incident on video tweeted, it's possible Sanders is a Disney princess.

It was Sanders second visit to the area in a week. Last week he was in Vancouver for a rally.

It's all in anticipation of Saturday's Democratic Caucuses in Washington.

Last week, Jim Moore of Pacific University, told Patch that Washington is one of the few remaining states where Sanders could beat his challenger, Hillary Clinton.

Clinton - and her surrogates, daughter Chelsea and husband, President Bill Clinton - have been campaigning in Washington.
