Portland International Airport Expects Very Busy Spring Break
PDX getting ready for record number of travelers

Spring Break in Oregon may not officially get underway until Monday but people are already on the move.
The Port of Portland, which runs PDX, says they expect a roughly 10 percent bomb in the number of people who pass through the airport.
They believe that on March 17, 18, 20, and 21 - nearly 50,000 people will be at the airport each day.

The airport will get a second crush when Washington schools take their Spring Break from April 4 to the 8th.
The Port says that it's best to plan ahead.

Given the expected crowds, they say if your flight is before 8AM or between 10:30AM and 1:30AM, it's best to arrive two hours early.
And things are only going to get busier as PDX,which has been chosen the best airport in the country by Travel and Leisure for the past three years.
Airlines from American to Frontier to Icelander are all adding flights in the next few months.
