Portland Police Arrest Teens, Seize Guns

The three teens were arrested during a traffic stop by the Gang Enforcement Team.

Three teens were arrested by officers from the Portland Police Bureau's Gang Enforcement Team who also seized three guns. The arrests happened during a traffic stop in the area of Southeast 160th Avenue and Stark Street.

Officers from the team had been in the area because of reports of gang activity and weapons possession at a nearby apartment complex.

The officers stopped a vehicle leaving the complex and arrested three of the five people in the vehicle.

  • 18-year-old Marcus Rudolph was charged with Unlawful Possession of a Firearm and Possession of a Loaded Firearm. Additionally, Rudolph was lodged on a probation violation.
  • 16-year-old Geavauntae Sherman was charged with Unlawful Possession of a Firearm and Possession of a Loaded Firearm. Additionally, Sherman was lodged on a probation violation.
  • 19-year-old Virgil Adams was charged with Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, Possession of a Loaded Firearm and Interfering with a Peace Officer.

Rudolph and Adams were booked into the Multnomah County Jail. Sherman was lodged at the Donald E. Long Juvenile Detention Home (JDH).
