Portland Police Arrest Woman For Stabbing Two Downtown

Both of the injured suffered what police say are non life-threatening injuries.

A woman is in jail after Portland Police say that she stabbed two people during a fight in downtown Portland. Both victims were hospitalized with what police say are non-life-threatening injuries.

Officers had responded to the report of a fight outside the Central Library on Southwest 10th Avenue. There, they found a man and woman, both of whom had knife wounds.

Police say that nearby they located 38-year-old Shiloe Janee Chetnik whom they arrested and charged with assault.

They say that Chetnik and her wife had been a fight with two others earlier in the day at O'Bryant Square Park. The four then saw each other again by the library. An argument then turned physical.
