Portland Police Bust Three and Seize a Gun

Arrests came after traffic pursuit.

The Portland Police Bureau's Gang Enforcement Team arrested three people Monday night after a chase through Northwest Portland. It started with a traffic stop at Northeast 139th Avenue and Glisan Street.

The driver - later identified as (removed), sped off and tried to elude police but ended up stopping at West Burnside.

Officers arrested (removed) and her two passengers, 24-year-old Isaiah Hassan and 24-year-old Spencer Tuggle. Portland Police say that Tuggle and Hassan are known gang associates.

Police say that officers also recovered a gun that they believe had been thrown from the car. It was a loaded handgun with a 30-round magazine.

Hassan and Tuggle were booked into the Multnomah County Jail on charges of Felon in Possession of a Firearm, Unlawful Possession of a Firearm and Possession of a Loaded Firearm.

(removed) was booked into the Multnomah County Jail on a charge of Attempt to Elude by Vehicle. (removed) was also held on a probation violation.

The Tactical Operations Division's Gang Enforcement Team (GET) and Gun Task Force (GTF) are continuing to investigate several incidents of gun violence citywide.
