Portland Police Identify Woman Hit by Car
24-year-old suffered life threatening injuries

Portland Police say that 24-year-old Amber Lapine suffered life-threatening injuries when she was hit by a car Friday afternoon.
Lapine was entering the crosswalk at NE 117th Avenue and Glisan when she was struck by a car.
She was taken to a local hospital.

The car was driven by 89-year-old Edmond Balding who remained at the scene.
At this point, he has not been charged in connection with the incident.
