Portland Police Investigate Gang Shooting in Northeast Portland

Dozens of bullets fired at woman and her three children. No one injured.

There were no injuries when three men started shooting into the street by Northeast 27th Avenue and Lombard Street on Sturday afternoon.

Portland Police responded around 3:41 after calls to 911.

There was a second call moments later from 60th and Lombard from a woman who said he was the intended victim of the shooting.

She told police she had been driving a red Mustang an had three children - ages 1, 4, and 15 - in her with the car when a car pilled up beside her.

There were several black men in the car, they got out and started shooting.

She sped away.

The men got back in their car and fled.

The police found evidence some three dozen shots had been fired at the woman and her children. Only the car's tires appear to have been hit.

Remarkably, police found no victims at either scene.

The Police Bureau's Gang Enforcement Team is leading the investigation.
