Portland Police are looking for a man who robbed the 7-Eleven in the Lloyd District early Tuesday morning.It happened just before 5 a.m. at the store at 310 Northeast Weidler.Officers had been flagged down by a witness who said the thief was running down Northeast 3rd Avenue.Even with the use of a police dog, offers were not able to find him.The employee at the store that was robbed said the man had come in with a gun and demanded money.The employee described the suspect as a white male in his late-30s to early-40s, 5'7" tall, wearing dark clothing. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call Robbery detectives at 503-823-0405.
