Portland Police Make 26th Arrest Stemming From #MayDayPDX Riot

Police say Damion Feller is suspected to be the man who was videoed throwing lit flares into a downtown Target store and police cruiser.

PORTLAND, OR — Portland police on Wednesday announced the arrest of the man suspected of throwing burning road flares into both a downtown Target store and a heavily damaged Portland police vehicle during the May Day riot on Monday.

Damion Zachary Feller, 22, was arrested on May 3 at Southwest Park Avenue and Southwest Stark Street, near O'Bryant Square, police said. He was lodged at the Multnomah County Jail and charged with both first and second degree arson and riot — felonies all. Feller is expected to be arraigned today, police said. His bail has been set at $260,000.

Police said Feller was identified as the person shown in multiple videos that have popped up in the news and on social media since Monday depicting a masked individual throwing lit flares into the Target and police cruiser. Feller is the 26th arrest stemming from the May 1 incident.
