Portland Police Officer Arrested for DUI
The arrest occurred in Clark County, Wash., early in the morning April 15. The officer is a 27-year veteran.

PORTLAND, OR – An off-duty Portland police officer was arrested for Driving Under the Influence in Clark County, Wash., Saturday, police officials said.
Officer Rodney Gustafson, a 27-year veteran, was arrested and charged early April 15. In accordance with standard operating procedures, Gustafson has been assigned to the Telephone Report Unit pending an investigation in Clark County, officials said.
According to the Portland Police Bureau, no further information or comment will be provided "because it could interfere with the process of conducting a neutral, objective internal investigation and the Bureau must protect public employees' privacy interests consistent with the Oregon Public Records Law and relevant collective bargaining agreements."

Following the Clark County Sheriff's Office investigation, the bureau will conduct an internal investigation.
