Portland Police Probe Daylight Shooting Of Man
Police say that the victim is expected to survive. The bureau's Gang Enforcement Team is investigating.

A man in his 20s was shot Wednesday afternoon on Southeast 129th Avenue just south of Burnside, Portland Police said. The man was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Officers responded to the area just after 2 after getting a call that shots had been fired. They found the man and applied a tourniquet while waiting for an ambulance.

Police say that based on preliminary information, they believe that the suspect or suspects fled east on either Burnside or Stark in a silver sedan.
Based on information gathered at the scene, officers called for detectives from the police bureau's Gang Enforcement Team to conduct the investigation.
