Man Shot in Drive-By Later Arrested on Drug and Weapons Charges
Antwain Patterson was shot, treated at the hospital, released, and then later arrested.

It was a busy day for Antwain Patterson.
Around 12:45 Thursday afternoon, he was around SE 119th and Ash in Portland when he and another man were shot in a drive-by.
While shot, he was released from the hospital.

Then, just after 10 p.m., officers from the Portland Police Bureau's Gang Enforcement Team saw a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot of the McDonald's at NE 121st and Glisan.
As they approached the car, the passenger in the back seat fled and was quickly apprehended.

The driver stayed in the car. As police searched the car, they found drugs, two guns, and materials "related to the distribution of drugs.
The driver was arrested. Police quickly determined he was Mr. Patterson who had been shot earlier in the day.
He was booked on multiple gun and drug charges.
As for the people who had shot him earlier in the day, they had fled in a dark blue sedan with tinted windows.
They are still at large.
As for Patterson's passenger who tried to flee. He was booked into jail on a parole violation related to a robbery conviction.
