
Portland Police are warning residents of Southeast Portland about three incidents of strangers approaching kids.
While they do not believe the incidents are related, the police believe they are concerning and want to people to know about them, especially since all three people are still on the street.
The first incident happened on June 8th, at around 8:20 a.m.

A 14-year-old female student at Ron Russell Middle School said that two people in an older white van approached her at Southeast 11th and Clinton and asked her to get in.
The van's side door slid open and a woman in her 20s with dirty blonde hair below her shoulders and a butterfly tattoo on on one of her arms, made a lewd comment and offered her a ride.

The teen said no and the van drove away.
That same day, around 11:30 a.m., staff at Hosford Middle School called police after a 12-year-old female student said she had been grabbed by the wrist as she walked by Southeast 28th Place and Division.
She was able to get away and get to school.
Then, on June 9th around 4:00 p.m., a 12-year-old boy waiting for his mother to pick him on Southeast 16th Avenue next to Sellwood Middle School, was approached by a man driving a dark green Volkswagen Golf.
The man asked the kid if he needed a ride home and offered him something that looked like beef jerky.
The victim described the driver as a white male in his mid-to-late 20s, "baby faced," big ears, clean cut, sandy blonde hair, thin build, approximately 5'3" to 5'7" tall.
The Portland Police Bureau would like to remind parents to talk to their children about "stranger danger" to keep them safe.
