"PPS buildings will be open and online Comprehensive Distance Learning (CDL) continues tomorrow, Wednesday, February 17, 2021. Meal service will resume; however, please note that tomorrow’s meal service will be slightly limited:
- Home meal deliveries will arrive approximately 2 hours later than usual.
- The following meal distribution sites will be closed due to power outages. Please plan on visiting the nearest alternative meal distribution site listed after each closed site.
- Arleta is closed for meal distribution (nearest alternative site: Marysville)
- Bridger is closed for meal distribution (nearest alternative site: Harrison Park)
- Whitman is closed for meal distribution (nearest alternative site: Lane)
- Woodmere is closed for meal distribution (nearest alternative site: Kelly)
Limited In-Person Instruction (LIPI) will continue on Wednesday. If there are any issues with power, schools will communicate with impacted families directly.

Child care in PPS sites will resume Wednesday. If there are any issues with power, child care providers will communicate with those families directly.
High school students scheduled to participate in athletics training will find out more information from their athletic director and/or their coach on Wednesday.
We understand some families and staff may still be experiencing power outages and/or internet connectivity issues. In those situations, absences for students will be excused. Teachers who are experiencing power or internet issues should work with their principal on a plan for the day.
