Dear PPS Families,

With PPS and all Oregon schools moving to online distance learning for the remainder of the school year, we are working hard to lend computers to students who do not have an internet-capable device at home. To date, we have distributed over 6,000 computers.
With extremely high demand on Thursday, our current number of distribution-available computers is low. We are pausing distribution and we will not distribute computers on Friday, April 10 at any of the four previously scheduled sites: PPS district office, Roosevelt HS, Jefferson HS and Franklin HS. There will be no computers available at these sites on Friday.

We will work on Friday and over the weekend to collect computers from our school buildings and then sanitize, prepare and package the devices. Distribution will resume on Monday, April 13 and we will continue distributing computers every day next week. We believe that pausing on Friday will allow for a smoother, quicker process next week.
We thank you for your patience and understanding. We look forward to seeing students and families next week.
