Portland Shooting: One Man Injured, Suspect on the Run

One man was shot early this morning in Southeast Portland.
It happened just after 5 a.m. by the intersection of Southeast 11th Avenue and Pine Street.
The victim, who has been living in a tent in the area, was shot once and taken to a local hospital.

While the victim's injuries were originally thought not to be life-threatening, they now think otherwise and homicide detectives have taken over the investigation.
The man who shot him is believed to also be living on the street.

Officers, including the K9 unit, have been checking the neighborhood but have not found the shooter.
