A motorcyclist died when he was involved in a crash with a U-Haul truck Thursday morning.It happened at Southeast Powell and 48th Avenue.Emergency personnel responded but were unable to save the motorcyclist, who died at the scene.Powell will be closed from 43rd to 50th for several hours and people are advised to avoid the area.The Portland Police Bureau's Major Crash Team is leading the investigation.
