Portland Update For Tuesday: Distance Learning Continues; Buildings Closed

Dear PPS Families,

As the air quality in our city has not significantly improved, all school sites will remain closed Tuesday, September 15.

We hope to resume our normal meal service and delivery schedule on Wednesday, September 16, and will assess the air quality on Tuesday and provide an update at that time. We are deeply grateful for our Nutrition Services and Custodial teams for making meal distribution happen on Monday, in the midst of a number of challenges. Their dedication to students and families is constant.

Let’s all hope for west winds and a bit of rain soon!
