Dear PPS Families,

As the air quality in our city continues to be very unhealthy, we are keeping all school sites closed again tomorrow, Wednesday, September 16.

  • Distance learning will continue as scheduled.
  • All school-based activities are canceled, with the exception of meal distribution.
  • Meals will be distributed at all PPS meal sites (with the exception of Woodlawn Elementary) on Wednesday, with reduced hours from 3:00-4:00 p.m. Please note that distribution might look different than usual, as staff will stay indoors until students and families arrive.
  • Please also note that door-to-door meal deliveries scheduled for Wednesday are being postponed due to air quality concerns, and will instead happen on Thursday.

We hope you are all staying safe and healthy.
