Tuesday was the ninth snow day of the year. And, as part of the plan to make up for lost time, late start for elementary and middle schools has been canceled.
"Safety of our students and staff remains a priority and we are optimistic that if temperatures are above freezing overnight, that our plan to open schools on time tomorrow will hold," the district said in a message.

"However, if the current precipitation results in additional icy conditions on roads, sidewalks, stairs and other pathways, we may need to adjust our start time."
