Portland Weather: Snow Kidding, The White Stuff May Be Coming Next Week
There's a chance there may be a small amount of snow in the hills on Sunday and Monday.

We have not yet had our first frost but the first snow of the season may be on its way. If things work out just right, there may be snow as low as 1,000 feet, which means the West Hills and some of the higher elevations in the region.
Don't get too excited, even in the best case scenario, it's not expected to be more than two inches in Portland and maybe twice that in places like Sandy.
Most likely, though, freezing rain - and, if not freezing, the cold not-so-great rain Oregonians are used to - will be here.

As for the Cascades, don't worry. Snow has been coming at a great pace this year.
On Monday, Mt. Hood Meadows, Timberline Lodge, Santiam Pass, and Government Camp, all received at least each six inches. All already have a depth of at least one foot and, in some cases, as much as four.

Meadows is already up and running.
Winter is not here yet officially. We have not yet had our first frost but that winter wonderland feeling is definitely on its way.
