Powell Shooting: One Man Shot in Drive-By

One man was wounded in a drive-by shooting on Powell Boulevard in Southeast Portland Sunday evening. The shooter is still at large.

Police say it happened around 5:45 on Powell by Southeast 52nd Avenue. The victim, a man, was taken to a hospital. His condition has not been disclosed.

While police say they're not sure what prompted the shooting, they say that it doesn't appear to have been gang-related.

Powell Boulevard in the area around the shooting is closed so that crime scene investigators can do their job.
