At a Portland City Council meeting on Wednesday, Mayor Ted Wheeler and the four other commissioners unanimously voted to adopt a resolution that will allow the City to develop a suite of new transportation-related fees for car, truck, and delivery drivers. Some of the task force's near-term recommendations include a flexible commuter benefits program, new priced on-street parking permit and meter districts, and new and/or modified fees for private parking lots, transport-for-hire, and urban delivery.
