Report: Oregon Speaker Tina Kotek Targeted by Fake Voters Guide

Oregonian reports pamphlet linked to Kotek's opponent, Sharon Nesset.

Voters in the district where House Speaker Tina Kotek is running for re-election, have received a pamphlet looking like an official's voters that makes Kotek seem less than appealing.

The Oregonian reports that the postcard has been linked to Kotek's opponent Sharon Nesset who has received a "stern letter" from the Secretary of State's Office warning her against potentially deceptive advertising.

Nasset, on her Facebook page, wrote that her campaign was not responsible but added "I believe it was no one's intention to deceive, and that it was meant to be clear that this was NOT an official government mailer."
