Report Questions if Jules Bailey Used Position to Make Money
Report in the Oregonian links mayoral candidate to not-for-profit that also employed former Oregon First Lady Cylvia Hayes.

A report in the Oregonian shows that recently released emails show Portland mayoral candidate Jules Bailey made tens of thousands of dollars from the same not-for-profit that employed former Oregon First Lady Cylvia Hayes.
The article says Bailey made $78,000 from Clean Economy Development Center, a Washington, DC.-based not-for-profit that "hyped Bailey's title and skills as an Oregon lawmaker while it chased grant funding."
Bailey told the paper that he didn't know the center was using him as a selling point and that he made sure he was only paid for work done outside of Oregon to avoid conflicts of interest.
