Roommate of PSU Football Player Who Died of Drug Overdose Arrested on Drug Charges
Jordan Visarraga is not charged in connection with his roommate's death.

The roommate of a Portland State University football player who died of a drug overdose has been indicted by a grand jury on drug charges.
Jordan Visarraga, who was the roommate of Kyle Smith, was indicted on possession charges related to cocaine and MDMA.
Smith was found dead in April inside his home on Southwest Park Avenue. Officials said he died of an overdose of fentanyl though they have not said how he obtained the drug.

While not connected to Smith's death, the charges do stem from the investigation. They were found while Portland Police were probing the death death of Smith.
