  1. Good news for those living in RVs, and probably everyone else in the city of Portland, the Portland Bureau of Environmental Services has decided to extend a program to pump waste out of RVs on Portland streets. (KGW.com)
  2. The Portland City Council was expected to announce the renovation plans of the South Park Blocks, but have delayed this decision due to fierce opposition to the plan. The 132-page plan describes a decades-long remodel that would cost between $22.9 million and $46.6 million. At Wednesday's City Council meeting, however, many Portlanders spoke out, mostly in defense of the elms that line the South Park Blocks. (OPB News)
  3. There was a confrontation that was caught between a couple and a homeless man in the SE Woodstock neighborhood. Things are tough out there people, remember to be kind to each other. (KOIN.com)
  4. If you haven't heard how crazy the Portland housing market is right now, a Redfin report says that 19.6% of homes sold in the Portland metro area since April were bought with all cash. While this might seem impressive, there were several other cities in the U.S. where this number was not so outrageous. (Philadelphia Business Journal)
  5. In case you didn't know, Portland's City Charter is up for review. This happens once every 10 years and, if you have any issues with how the city is run, the city is looking for your input. Past charter reviews have made mostly superficial changes, but this review promises to be much more substantial, discussing such things as ranked choice voting and campaign finance.
