Sex Trafficking Victim Rescued, Two Men Arrested: Portland Police

The 16-year-old victim was returned to her family Thursday, April 27. The two male suspects have been lodged at the Multnomah County Jail.

PORTLAND, OR – Two men are in custody and a juvenile female is back home with her family following a Portland Police Bureau sex trafficking operation Thursday in Southeast Portland, according to bureau officials.

Tre Quane Jenkins, 22, and Antonio Jaray Moore, 20, were arrested April 27 and charged with compelling prostitution. Both men have been lodged at the Multnomah County Jail, with bail set at $250,000 apiece.

Working in partnership with the Beaverton Police Department and the FBI Child Exploitation Task Force, Portland police’s Sex Trafficking Unit began investigating this case several weeks ago, police said. During the investigation, police learned the 16-year-old victim was being held at a home in the 8500-block of Southeast Steele Street.

On Thursday, April 27, police reportedly contacted the victim at the home and subsequently removed her. After a short standoff, roughly 10 minutes later, Jenkins and Moore were taken into custody without incident, police said, adding that a firearm was taken during the investigation.
