Shootout Leads to Car Crash Say Portland Police
No one was shot but two people were injured in the crash.

Gunfire rang through the streets of northeast Portland Saturday morning.
It was around 9:15 when Portland Police responded to Northeast 105th Avenue and Glisan Street.
Witnesses told officers that people in two cars were driving down the street firing at each other.

No victims were found but there was evidence of gunfire.
About 15 minutes later, other officers responded to a single vehicle crash on Northeast 162nd Avenue just south of Halsey.

They determined the car and its occupants had likely been involved in the gun battle.
The two tried to walk away from the scene but were tracked down by officers.
The men were taken to a hospital with serious but not life threatening injuries.
Neither appeared to have been shot.
The investigation continues.
