Some Oregon Sanders-Supporting Convention Delegates Stage Little Noticed Walkout
The Associated Press reports that a couple of Oregon delegates in Philadelphia tied black gags around their mouths.

There may have been a lot of love in the room for Hillary Clinton in Philadelphia as she became the first woman to receive the presidential nomination of a political party. But, there were a group of Oregonians who were less than happy.
The Associated Press reports that a group of Oregonian delegates to the Democratic National Convention staged a walkout after Hillary officially received the nomination.
The news agency said that a couple of hundred - out of more than 4,000 - delegates walked out and "several" were from Oregon.

They quote Colby Clipson, a 23-year-old Portland resident and alternate Sanders delegate saying "Left convention hall after Hillary declared winner. Went to press tent to do a silent sit in."
Sanders did well in Oregon, winning 57 percent of the vote in the May primary.

Two of the state's super-delegates chose not to attend the convention. One because of illness and Representative Peter DeFazio who chose not to go to protest superdelegates.
As a result, when Oregon's 74 votes were tallied during the roll call on Tuesday, 38 were announced for Sanders and 34 for Clinton.
