Speeding Believed Cause of Fatal Crash in North Portland
The driver died. His passenger was injured but is expected to be okay.

Portland Police have identified the driver killed in the crash in North Portland on Tuesday night. They say he was 30-year-old Maurice Santez Starks of Portland.
His passenger was identified as 260year-old Krystie Lenae Webster. She was injured but is expected to be okay.
Police say that Starks was driving a white 2007 Saturn Ion at a high rate of speed as he took the Kerby off-ramp. Police say that he failed to negotiate the sweeping curve, crashed into barrier and went into oncoming traffic. There, he struck another barrier.
