Portland Police have identified the driver killed in the crash in North Portland on Tuesday night. They say he was 30-year-old Maurice Santez Starks of Portland.His passenger was identified as 260year-old Krystie Lenae Webster. She was injured but is expected to be okay.Police say that Starks was driving a white 2007 Saturn Ion at a high rate of speed as he took the Kerby off-ramp. Police say that he failed to negotiate the sweeping curve, crashed into barrier and went into oncoming traffic. There, he struck another barrier.Investigators believe speed was a factor in the crash and are awaiting toxicology results. That could take several weeks.Image via ShutterStock
