STATE SENATOR DENNIS LINTHICUM, ANTI-SCIENCE TRUMP ENABLER - A MENACE TO OREGONIANS

State Senator Dennis Linthicum is not only ignorant but dangerous. He writes to his constituents, “a totalitarian state seeks to absorb as much private life as possible into the sphere of state control. In Oregon, one can see this surfacing with recent attempts at denial of access to educational resources without first submitting to mandatory vaccinations.”

Yes, that’s right, state senator Dennis Linthicum accuses Oregon of being a totalitarian state.

Linthicum then waxes philosophical, “The purpose of life is not to serve the state; rather, it is to develop into a full and flourishing human-being who is capable of independent choices, thoughtful analysis and has the ability to recognize Truth, Goodness and Beauty, while exhibiting virtue and positively contributing to one’s family and community.”

Yes, that’s right, state senator Dennis Linthicum has the gall, the self-righteous hubris, the hypocrisy, the hutzpah, to claim that his purpose in life is to be “capable of independent choices, thoughtful analysis and the ability to recognize Truth, Goodness and Beauty, while faithfully maintaining his mutually exclusive CULT LIKE SUPPORT for Donald Trump who DISAVOWS independent choices, thoughtful analysis and the ability to recognize Truth, Goodness and Beauty.

Linthicum closes all his polemics to his constituents with, “Remember, If we don't stand for rural Oregon values and common-sense, No one will.”

Yes, that’s right, state senator Dennis Linthicum has imposed Donald Trump’s values, LYING, cheating, racism, obstruction of justice, disrespect for our constitution, the law and American Intelligence Agencies, an authoritarian view of the Presidency, nepotism, anti-science, ignorance, conning the people of Oregon and America and more on rural Oregonians.

Contrary to Linthicum’s beliefs:

A. Neither Individuals nor corporations have the right to pollute the air, water, and land used by others. PUBLIC safety is the overriding concern.

B. Neither Individuals nor corporations have the right to sell tainted food. PUBLIC safety is the overriding concern.

C. Speed limits are NOT a matter of individual choice. PUBLIC safety is the overriding concern.

Apparently senator Lithicum has never heard of the CDC, Center For Disease Control, county health departments or restaurant inspectors. PUBLIC safety is the overriding concern.

Apparently senator Lithicum thinks medicine and agriculture have no connection to SCIENCE.

Vaccines are one of the most important advances in public health of the last two centuries. Immunization saves millions of lives every year, and horrific illnesses that were simply unavoidable not all that long ago have now been eliminated.

Paul declared that the government never mandated the smallpox vaccine — conveniently ignoring, among other things, Jacobson v. Massachusetts, the 1905 case in which a man unsuccessfully challenged a vaccine mandate. Jacobson is often considered a seminal decision in public health case law.

Refusing parents, in the name of their own freedom, put not only their own children but other children at risk — undermining the compliant parents’ own freedom to choose to protect their children.

PUBLIC HEALTH is what this is all about.

State Senator Dennis Linthicum’s views are largely a reflection of absorbing Toxic State Propaganda and misinformation from Fox News, Breitbart News and the American Spectator.

The network has grown so allied with the White House in the demonization of Trump’s critics that “Fox is no longer conservative—it’s anti-democratic.”

Linthicum could better serve his constituents and perhaps gain a modicum of respect and credibility from his colleagues and the Press by spending less time with Sean Hannity and more with The New York Times, The Washington Post and Lawrence O’Donnell on MSNBC, one of the best in the business.
