Expect Lane Closures, Delays On SW Vermont St

Traffic delays should be expected during construction hours on Thursday and Friday while PBOT crews grind and pave a section of roadway.

PORTLAND, OR — Improvements to a half-mile section of roadway in the Vermont Hills area of Southwest Portland will require lane closures Thursday and Friday, from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Work on Southwest Vermont Street, between Southwest 65th and Southwest 52nd avenues, will see crews grind and pave the road, and update any ramps that are not ADA standard.

According to the Portland Bureau of Transportation, Southwest Vermont Street sees roughly 8,000 vehicles per day, making the roadway a longitudinal arterial from Portland's Hillsdale neighborhood to Beaverton's Raleigh Hills area.
