Teen Arrested for Assaulting Bus Driver

Police originally thought three people had been involved.

A 15-year-old is under arrest, charged with assault for an attack on a TriMet bus driver in April.

Portland Police say the teen was taken to the Donald E. Long Juvenile Detention Home.

The incident happened on April 4 when officers responded to a report of a driver having been assaulted at Southeast 122 and Powell Boulevard.

Based on surveillance video from the bus, officers originally thought three people might have been involved. They eventually eliminated two of them as suspects.
