Welcome back, friends! It's another Tuesday in Portland and I'm feeling pretty good about that. Let's talk about our day.
First, today's weather:
It looks like a pretty nice day today. It'll be a little cloudy, but little to no rain and a high of 50.

Here are the top stories in Portland today:
- Three teens were arrested in connection with an armed robbery that occurred in the Concordia neighborhood over the weekend. Police apprehended three male juveniles, aged 15, 16 and 17. A handgun was found underneath a vehicle nearby. (KOIN.com)
- Is Image Comics anti-union? The Portland-based company is currently the third-largest comic book publisher after the big tw0 (DC and Marvel), yet it has refused to recognize that the majority of its employees have signed their union authorization cards, according to Comic Book Workers United PDX . Local news station KGW speaks with members of Comic Book Workers United PDX to learn why such a union is needed. (KGW.com)
- I'm trying to keep you updated on all the candidates running in the elections coming next year, but they just keep on coming. The latest addition is local businessman Rene Gonzalez who will be vying for the Position 3 seat on Portland City Council, pitting him up against Jo Ann Hardesty. (KATU)
- If you've been standing in line at the pharmacy, waiting too long to get your prescription filled, Pharmacy Benefit Managers may be to blame. Kevin Russell spent 28 years working in community pharmacies and is now the Central Oregon Regional Director on the Oregon State Pharmacy Association board. Russell told OPB that intermediary companies called Pharmacy Benefit Managers have too much control over the prices of prescription drugs, and that causes a ripple effect. (OPB)
- With tolls likely on the way for Portland-area freeways, some residents are wondering if it's worth it to hide their license plate to avoid the fees. The Willamette Week gives a run down of the many technologies that could be used to evade detection, but also reminds us that these are all very, very illegal. (Willamette Week)

Foxy Blues mixes the folk, country, jazz and blues of the 60s, and 20s with Foxy's original poetry and melodies. There may also be storytelling from her days hoping trains and wandering down roads. - I've been saying it's the season for giving and now it's the Mercado in SE Portland that is getting in on the action with its Winter Support Drive Kickoff Party. Our friends at Barrio (at Portland Mercado) are hosting a winter support drive for Clackamas Service Center! Drop by anytime this holiday season to donate new adult socks and underwear for our unhoused neighbors. - For an evening of jazz and great pizza, swing by the North Portland spot 1905 to see the Ari Hoeing trio with Gadi Lehavi and Ben Tiberio. Jazz Times says, "Ari Hoenig is one of the most maniacally obsessive, spasmodic and musical drummers in jazz." 8:00 PM.
- The Hollywood Theater in NE Portland and Repressed Cinema present a rare 35mm print of the 1962 noir obscurity, Fallguy. In this intense, low budget film noir, a teenager (Ed Dugan) trying to help an accident victim finds himself enmeshed in political corruption and racketeering, and is charged with a murder he didn't commit. On the run from the mob and a hitman, the teen tries to unravel exactly who set him up. 7:30 PM.
