Thousands Lose Power When Car Crashes into Pole

Crash happened around 3:00 Friday morning. Around 2,300 customes lost power.

An early morning car crash knocked out power to thousands of customers in Northeast Portland on Friday. The customers all get their electricity from Pacific Power.

The crash - a one car crash - happened at 65th and Halsey.

Pacific Power said that originally knocked out power to 2,356 customers.

By 12:20 in the afternoon, all but 251 customers had their power restored.
